Leading Literacy with Knowledge and Heart
Developing a vision that works for your unique school context
This highly facilitative course gives leaders of literacy in primary schools the opportunity to reflect on their own school context. Participants will be supported in creating an actionable vision for literacy in their school and to develop their knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction. Leadership and change management frameworks will be explored to support schools in bringing their vision to life as they take their schools to the next stage of development.
The 10 hour course will take place online via zoom on the following dates:
Regina Dunne is Deputy Principal and Literacy Coordinator of a school in North Dublin. She is President Elect of the Literacy Association of Ireland. Regina was previously Team Leader of Literacy at the PDST.
Ingrid Seim is a psychological coach and the founder of Avenues Consultancy & Coaching. She has over twenty years leadership experience, and is also a coach for school principals through the Centre of School Leadership.
