Bio of Presenter: Dr. Patrick O Donnell PhD

Dr. Patrick O Donnell holds a Bachelor’s degree and a PhD in Chemistry from University College Dublin (UCD). He also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at University College Cork (UCC), where he is currently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.).

Patrick is a dedicated Chemistry, Science, and Mathematics teacher at Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra in Rathmore. In addition to his teaching role, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Irish Science Teachers’ Association (ISTA). He is also actively involved with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) and is a member of the Physics and Chemistry Development Group. In this capacity, he is contributing to the development of the new Physics and Chemistry specification at the national level.
