Target Audience: Primary & Post Primary SNA’s , Primary & Post Primary Teachers, Early Years

Workplace Training and Compliance, Intimate care course is provided in a manner that respects each child’s privacy, promotes their independence and safeguards their physical and emotional wellbeing.  Intimate care assistance must prioritise the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of each child while ensuring compliance with relevant Irish legal and policy frameworks within your setting. We will review the Intimate Care Plan and look at scenarios that can cause hazards and risk to all. Scenarios will include:

• Toileting Support
• Changing of Incontinence Products
• Personal Hygiene
• Mobility and Physical Assistance
• Medical Related Personal Care
