This webinar will be presented by DYSI Dyslexia Specific Learning Difficulties Ireland ( DySI) to provide a broad overview of dyslexia; key areas to be addressed: what dyslexia is, indicators and technical terms around dyslexia, the social and emotional effects of dyslexia, practical strategies and appropriate interventions to support children with dyslexia.

DYSI Dyslexia Specific Learning Difficulties Ireland (DySI) brings together as a collective members of the teaching community - practising and experienced primary, secondary and further education teachers - with particular expertise and qualifications in the area of literacy difficulties. All members of DySI hold a Level 9 Masters, or above, in Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia).
The primary objective of the organisation is to work with parents, students, teachers, SNAs and all parties interested in supporting individuals with SpLD/Dyslexia.
