SUM104 FAI Primary Playbook Summer Course

This course aim is to provide teachers with the knowledge, skills and personal attributes to be able to utilise the medium of football to engage children in physical activity through football. Teachers with be provided with resources, schemes of work and tools to use the medium of football to bring the world of football into the classroom and engage in practical activities through the global game.

Teachers will be provided with a clear understanding of how to utilise the Teaching Games for Understanding approach.

The course will also provide the teachers with the ability to connect football and languages, wellness, fundamental movements, leadership and event management.

Dates: Tuesday 1st – Saturday 5th July

Time: 9.30 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.

Venue: Scoil Naomh Eoin, Clonmagadden Valley, Navan, Co. Meath
