Workplace Training and Compliance, urinary catheters and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) awareness course is designed to support staff and reduce risk in providing safe and dignified assistance to students. In order to ensure these students can safely access education, schools must adopt clear, safe, and legally compliant procedures grounded in HSE guidance, Department of Education expectations, and best practice in infection prevention and control (IPC).
These 2 intimate care interventions may well be a visual check and in some case more intrusive.
